نویسندگان

چکیده

This letter proposes a passivity-based dual-loop vector voltage and current control method for grid-forming voltage-source converters (GFM-VSCs). A passive output impedance of GFM-VSC is guaranteed in both the mode current-limiting with wide range time delay. The frequency-domain analysis, simulation experimental tests validate effectiveness approach.

Passivity-Based Stability Assessment of Grid-Connected VSCs—An Overview

The interconnection stability of a grid-connected voltage-source converter (VSC) can be assessed by the passivity properties of the VSC input admittance. If critical grid resonances fall within regions where the input admittance acts passively, i.e., has nonnegative real part, then their destabilization is generally prevented. This paper presents an overview of passivity-based stability assessm...

Control of Inverter-Interfaced Distributed Generation Units for Voltage and Current Harmonics Compensation in Grid-Connected Microgrids

In this paper, a new approach is proposed for voltage and current harmonics compensation in grid-connected microgrids (MGs). If sensitive loads are connected to the point of common coupling (PCC), compensation is carried out in order to reduce PCC voltage harmonics. In absence of sensitive loads at PCC, current harmonics compensation scenario is selected in order to avoid excessive injection of...

Passivity-Based Direct power control of Shunt Active Filter under Distorted Grid Voltage Conditions

Despite its many advantages, the conventional direct power control (DPC) of shunt active power filters (SAPF) poses some problems. This paper investigates the design of a new control technical combining DPC control and passivity theory (PT) to ensure quasi-sinusoidal grid currents, under various conditions of the source voltages. The proposed approach (DPC-PT) appeals to the theory of symmetric...

Passivity-Based Control of a Doubly Fed Induction Generator System under Unbalanced Grid Voltage Conditions

According to the theory of passivity-based control (PBC), this paper establishes a port-controlled Hamiltonian system with dissipation (PCHD) model for a doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) system under unbalanced grid voltage conditions and proposes a method of interconnection and damping assignment passivity-based control (IDA-PBC) of the system under such conditions. By using this method, ...

Low Voltage Ride Through Enhancement Based on Improved Direct Power Control of DFIG under Unbalanced and Harmonically Distorted Grid Voltage

In the conventional structure of the wind turbines along with the doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), the stator is directly connected to the power grid. Therefore, voltage changes in the grid result in severe transient conditions in the stator and rotor. In cases where the changes are severe, the generator will be disconnected from the grid and consequently the grid stability will be attenu...
